We strive to follow Jesus Christ as He is revealed in the New Testament. He is the Savior and King who possesses all the wisdom and riches of God (Col. 2:1-3). What He taught personally and through the apostles and prophets is the truth that saves (Jn. 8:32). By it we gain faith in which we are to walk to be pleasing to Him (Rom. 10:17; 2 Cor. 5:17).
Jesus said, “If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine” (Jn. 7:17). He also said, “You shall know the truth” (Jn. 8:32). We firmly believe that God did not make the Bible a hopeless labyrinth for man. Rather, He revealed His will in a way that we can understand it. Thus, He expects us to be “doers” not just “hearers” of His Word (Jas. 1:22).
